HPANF Development Continues

SnipeDragon will be resuming development on HPANF, and many changes are being planned and everyone is welcome to join us as they happen. We'll probably be getting a new forum on his web server, as well as frequent updates as he continues development. We'll post an announcement on the forums once we've changed over. Also keep in mind all of the development changes will all be posted on the forums.

From what I understand MechaCloud is recreating our bases for us, so be sure to thank him if you see him around.

Rotem will still be around, but she's quite busy so she'll be here for support. Further launcher support is now discontinued as we found out that FMOD, the library byond uses for audio, does not allow redistribution in the license that Byond has.

Demonic will be around only when there is an emergency as he's no longer active in the community.

I'll be around as an invisible over-seer watching the game and community grow. I'll program here and there and provide support when needed. Other than that, I might just play the game and be about~

Major development is already underway. The new website/forum is being worked on by SnipeDragon, and we've already started making the changes you guys have been neglected from.

The reason I shutdown development is because of a newer project and the fact that life had gotten busier. There was no way I could do it all. SnipeDragon is an old friend of mine, and he will be leading development and the server for me. I'll be around playing and developing too, but for the most part he'll be the main guy you'll see running things.

Here is the new bases MechaCloud was kind enough to make. Over time this ugly, featureless world will be turned into a game that everyone will enjoy~

Thanks, but remember I won't be leading this. Be advised SnipeDragon is leading the project into a more original direction; attempting to leave the Harry Potter name behind while keeping a similar idea. A magic school of sorts. More details will be posted when I find out. I've already gotten some of the art for the project and it's super nice. I'll be sharing that when the forums move.

Something that I think would be original yet also very interesting would be if perhaps you collaborated with another HP team on byond. The two teams could create their own spells and layouts and icons for their specific school however the physics would all be the same.

I believe that not only would you guys be able to work better/faster, but you will also be able to express your individuality for people and have a unique game.
