Hello! Welcome to Harry Potter: A New Fate.
You may have noticed you have spawned on to a strange path with a tall building behind you. You have spawned in London. There is nothing here (for now), so you should probably look at either taking the door east of the building or the door west of the building.
The door west of the building is what I recommend first. Through this door is Tom's Bar. Explore Tom's Bar (you should try looking for walls you could walk in to) and discover Diagon Alley.
The Diagon Alley strip is a little empty for now. The first door on your left is an empty mall in development and on your right there is an appearance shop with Jason the Barber and Jack the Salesman - you can here buy hair and hair accessories; buy what you wish for what gold you have by going to 'Commands' and selecting 'Talk'; alternatively you can right-click and select 'Talk' to your selected item-seller. Further down the strip there is a mysterious empty room on your right - once you're done exploring, you should think about moving north to Ollivander's. Go to Ollivander's, find Ollivander and right-click on him. Talk to him. Follow his instructions for a free a wand from him. Don't lose the free wand as other wands cost up to 5000 gold! To draw your wand, go to your 'Inventory' where you shall find your wand. Double clicking on it shall draw your wand; double clicking again shall withdraw your wand. If you proceed west from Ollivander's you will find Gringott's Wizarding Bank (which isn't yet open to the public).
If you go back the way you came and go to London, go through the other door (east). You will find yourself in King's Cross Station. An Auror is at the platform warning of Death Eater attacks. Talk to him. Take up his offer to travel to the Hogsmeade station.
Upon arrival at Hogsmeade, there are 3 doors you can take. I recommend choosing the door which is east. Wait, there are 2 doors heading east? Take the door which is nearer north. Travel the route and eventually you will find yourself at Hogwarts.
Enter Hogwarts, and travel directly north through the Entrance Hall to the Great Hall. At the top of the Great Hall there is a Sorting Hat which will decide your housing fate. Open your 'Commands' tab; select wear - the Sorting Hat will then think for a few seconds before determining your house. This is non-negotiable, it's who you were destined to be!
Come out of the Great Hall back to the Entrance Hall. Almost immediately to your right you will see a weird, brown staff looking-thing. This is a mailbox. You can right click on it to send mail and view mail you have received.
If you travel east of the Entrance Hall you will find the library. Levelling is done via reading books. Go to a book shelf, in 'Commands' select 'Get Book'. For now you want a Beginner's Guide to Defensive Magic. Then, go to Commands, and select 'Read' - you can 'macro' this in future (check my macro guide for more info). Enjoy your leveling.
This is all you need to know as a beginner in ANF, for now.
